To highlight the journey of the Style Open more deeply, Comms partnered with Hypebeast Korea to develop a series that vividly captured the purpose of this workshop and the students’ vision. The 2025 Coupang Play Series drew major attention as it marked Heung-min Son’s final match with Tottenham. Nike supported athlete Jae-ah Lee and her sister Jae-si Lee during this iconic moment, creating a unique intersection between sport and style. Through this collaboration, we seamlessly connected their distinctive fashion with both lifestyle and sportswear, allowing their style to resonate wherever they go.

This exclusive approach not only elevated awareness of products crafted expressly for her, but also offered style inspiration that resonated with her refined sensibilities. Seamlessly woven into her lifestyle, each piece empowered her to lead trends and confidently express her unique individuality.

It was a very positive project because it gave athletes a chance to rediscover their value. Personal narratives in the final output can be a meaningful way for athletes to express themselves beyond performance.

To wrap up, student designers got to shoot their final looks with a matching product—either a Air Max Muse or Air Superfly. Led by fashion photographer Jinwoo Park, the shoot was a collaborative effort between designers, athlete-models, and the photographer to bring out the best results. The final content, showing how each student turned sports inspiration into athlete style, will be shared as an article and interview video across owned and partner channels.

From July 14th, designers (students) and Creative Directors led a 3 – 4 week workshop to develop ideas and create their own pieces. Creative Directors supported the designers through mid-review sessions to help refine their work and during this period, the SNKRS team filmed and published Creator Spotlight content, generating first buzz around the project.

Held on July 12th, this one-day workshop marked the starting point for sharing the most essential elements of Style Open. It brought together participants from fashion and sports for networking, Q&A, and step-by-step sessions organized across multiple categories.

Style Open was designed as a participatory workshop with a focus on strengthening the brand’s connection with trend-sensitive female consumers. While Leaders of Seoul leveraged hyper-localised content to engage a wider audience, Style Open served as a more authentic Ground Game initiative aimed at showcasing the brand’s identity.


The project sought to bridge the gap between sports and fashion, which often feel disconnected in Korea. To do so, Nike athletes collaborated with top fashion school students and innovative fashion brand directors.


As a result, creative outputs inspired by the athletes’ disciplines and winning mindset were produced. These will be shared with the public as stylish fashion items with a strong sports identity.
